dhh merged omarchybot's omacom/omarchy#17000 into quattro, restoring ordinary sudo caching. One password now covers ten minutes in the same terminal, replacing command-level timestamp clearing that repeatedly prompted during snapshots and development linking. Updates retain their own initial authorization and keepalive.
The change also simplifies update, refresh and channel-switch scripts and lets hooks and mise inherit the caller's PATH. greptile-apps[bot] described the decision as explicitly accepting that user-run tools can reuse cached authorization. Checks protecting update cleanup and temporary passwordless grants from other accounts remain.
