Open proposals

emirb opened omacom/omarchy#16824 to install rtkit across platforms and repair zero realtime budgets in running sessions before enabling realtime scheduling. The proposal remains open. emirb reports that missing rtkit contributes to audio dropouts under load and zero budgets associated with silent application kills.

greptile-apps[bot] raised two sequencing concerns: the Quattro upgrade could install rtkit before repairing existing processes, and a portal restart failure could skip a final repair pass. Current descriptions, updated on October 28 outside coverage, say both paths have been addressed; the latest bot summary retains a Bash-style correction. Those updates provide current context rather than evidence of exactly when each fix landed.

emirb reports successful upgrades and reduced audio xruns on two machines. These remain author measurements supporting an unmerged proposal. The current description also leaves Flatpak clients dependent on portal behavior and records further limitations for some PipeWire clients.
