In September 24 background discussion, acrogenesis asked whether blocking should apply while unlocked or only while locked. The current proposal description, edited after coverage, describes default enforcement through USBGuard and Bolt, with choices to allow once, trust permanently or keep blocked. It also documents optional boot protection and warns that USB input can remain unavailable at an encrypted-disk prompt.
